TAKILMA has been known for utilizing elements of blues rock, improvised jazz rock & modern & classic rock with quality original songwriting, which has become a successful formula for the TAKILMA musical establishment. TAKILMA has also earned a reputation for transforming classic rock songs into intense LIVE jam sessions paying tribute to the bands & influences that paved the way for TAKILMA such as Dylan, Hendrix, Cream, The Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young & The Doors to name just a few….
No matter if you have seen the band when it exploded on the California Music Scene in the late 90’s to the current modern day 2010 incarnation of the band, TAKILMA HAS ALWAYS DELIVERD A 110% ELECTRIFIED ROCK N’ ROLL SHOW leaving no note unturned but every drop of sweat on the stage. Original TAKILMA founders BK (Guitar) & Big Nate (Bass Guitar) have kept the TAKILMA rhythm section ever flowing and bring the band into 2010 with NEW Lead Vocalist Mike B. (a well known name in the Kansas City & Mid-West Music Scene) and Legendary California Blues Rocker Eddie “Guitar” Loebs on the Lead Guitar!!!
TAKILMA is set to release their NEW collection of all original tracks “Raising the Frequency” on April 20th 2010. The bands new single “One Bullet” will hit the airwaves & internet in March 2010. The band will embark on a 2010 Western U.S. Tour in support of “Raising the Frequency” during Spring & Summer.
